Sport at Swansea University is going through a major transitional and development period with the aim of professionalising the governance, administration and delivery of sport within the institution. The sports department has introduced plans for the delivery of five focus sports which entails development pathways to professional or international level and aims to attract the most talented young sports people to attend and represent the University.We’re offering local, national and global enterprises of all sizes an opportunity to be part of this journey – gaining exceptional brand recognition while supporting aspiring athletes to fulfil their dreams.The University has over 50 sports clubs within its portfolio which provide opportunities for our students to play, train and compete at various levels. Within this portfolio sit the five focus sports mentioned above.We have a number of opportunities for your company to get involved, with a myriad of exposure and rewards to benefit your organisation examples of which are;1.Social Media exposureSocial media exposure provides a reach of over 92k individual users across all platforms including FB, Twitter and Instagram2.Onsite exposureWith over 500k annual visitors to the site and over 50k vehicles passing the site daily your pitch side board or fence line banner will be noticed by over 1,000,000 eyes per year3.Exposure on uniforms3400 students play competitive sport at SU who could be potentially wearing your logo at home games and travelling to away fixtures around the UK4.Website exposure –With between 200 and 400 unique visitors per day to the website your logo and link will receive great exposure5.Invitations to sports related eventsA number of opportunities exist to receive invitations to attend various events, from home and away fixtures or cup games to the annual sports awards, the Welsh Varsity showcase and the Annual sports fundraising dinner6.Being part of this exciting period of development within Swansea University sport helping to develop young sports people to reach their full potential.Partnership opportunities begin at the basic level with signage on the sports site for £500 plus VAT up to £50,000 for the exclusivity of sponsoring Sport Swansea (the whole student sport provision) further packages and benefits can be discussed upon application we can also tailor an opportunity for you and your organisation. Sponsorship agreements can be negotiated for terms to suit both parties and provide numerous options from 12 months to three years.The five sports which have introduced this new high performance programme and can be sponsored individually are:•Football – 190 members•Hockey – 215 members (not including Swansea City Hockey)•Netball – 155 members•Rugby – 320 members•Swimming – 110 membersThese five focus sports have both male and female members (with the exception of netball which is exclusively female) and provide participatory levels but also high performance.
