Sportscotland was seeking to appoint 3 suitably qualified consultants to provide expert resource in legal, finance and HR to Sports Governing Bodies of sport in Scotland. Consultants could bid for any number of lots.Sportscotland currently invests in over 50 Sports Governing Bodies (SGBs) in Scotland and annually awards an amount in excess of 15 000 000 GBP to these bodies as a primary means of fulfilling Sportscotland's remit as the national agency for sport.Since 2011, Sportscotland has contracted suitably qualified consultants across a range of business disciplines to ensure that governance, financial accounting processes, HR procedures and skills, at SGBs are of high standard. The support includes a helpline and more in-depth support when necessary.
