SPT - Strategic Agreement for Substation Works

SPT is seeking through this procurement to appoint suppliers to a Framework Agreement for Substation Works with the capacity and capability to deliver its strategic infrastructure priorities.The agreement will comprise of five (5) Lots:-•Lot 1 is for Substation Civil Enabling Works•Lot 2 is for Substation Construction Works•Lot 3 is for Substation Enabling Works (Disaggregated Model)•Lot 4 is for Substation Civil Works (Disaggregated Model)•Lot 5 is for Substation Electrical Works (Disaggregated Model)Lots 1 and 2 are based on an EPC approach whereby the suppliers appointed to the agreement may be allocated projects and they will provide engineering and design, procure any materials and equipment, and carry out the construction works as per the agreed design with SPT.Lots 3, 4 and 5 are based on a disaggregated model where the supplier would be appointed to complete a specific package of works to a design and specification provided by SPT. Under these Lots, SPT would be the Principal Contractor and Principal Designer and the selected supplier would be a Contractor under the CDM 2015 RegulationsDetails of the projects anticipated to be covered under this agreement are available in SPT's procurement documents, including an indication of the scope of work and size of a typical project. Note that the exact scope of each project may change from the publication of this document. These projects are indicative and may be subject to change. SPT reserves the right to update or amend these projects or add additional projects to the framework.There is no guarantee, express or implied, that the appointed suppliers under the framework agreement will receive any, or a particular volume or value of work.A virtual launch event will be held w/c 8 January 2024: to attend please email SubstationsStrategicAgreement@scottishpower.com with the names and email addresses for your attendees.
