SS15087: Invitation to Provider Engagement Event to learn more about the forthcoming tender for Learning Disability Day Services Does your organisation currently provide a day service for adults with a learning disability? Kent County Council has reviewed the way that we commission day services for adults with a learning disability, and over the past 18 months has invited organisations that provide day services to co-produce and engage on what the commissioning strategy and day service model should look like in the future. Following this engagement we will now be holding two final sessions on 12th October 2016 to update you further and to give you the opportunity to ask questions about the new day service model and the procurement process for the tender. The two sessions will take place in the Faversham area at the following times: Wednesday 12th October - 09:30-13:00 Wednesday 12th October - 13:30-17:00 Please note the agenda for both sessions will be the same - you need only attend once. If you are interested in attending one of these sessions, please email communitysupport@kent.gov.uk to request a place. Please ensure you put Learning Disability Day Services Engagement as the email subject heading and provide the following information: Which session you wish to attend - am or pm? The name and contact details of the attendee(s) Are there any topics/questions that you feel it would be useful to discuss before the tender process starts? Or any aspects of the tender process itself that you would like to understand more about? If so, please let us know and we will try and accommodate these in the agenda or provide information around them that people can take away on the day. The deadline for expressing your interest is 12.00pm, on Tuesday 11th October. Places will be confirmed via email within 2 working days of an expression of interest being received. Venue details will also be confirmed at this stage. Please be aware that places at the sessions are limited and it may therefore be necessary to limit applications to one per provider. Parking for these events is often limited at the venues, so you may wish to consider car-sharing or alternative transport options.
