Over the past four years The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) has developed and expanded its commitment to provide learning and development resources for the full range of stakeholders in the social service sector in Scotland. The fruits of this development work can be found at http://workforcesolutions.sssc.uk.com. In the past two and a half years, the SSSC has increasingly focused on the use of mobile technology to support learning given the dispersed and community-based nature of the workforce it seeks to serve.We have sought to identify a single supplier who has the requisite experience and capacity to meet our new development needs in the above noted areas over the coming 36 months, increasing organisational agility in meeting the needs and expectations of our employers as well as stakeholders in higher and further education.
