In 2021 Leicestershire County Council (The Council) established a standing list of providers for the service provision of a range of training services within Leicestershire and the wider East Midlands region via the following categories: Early Years Inclusion and Child Care (EYICC) (Category 1) Governor Support and Development (GSD) (Category 2) Autism Education Trust (AET) (Category 3) The Councils objective for this procurement is to reopen the standing list for a final time for Category 1 and Category 2. Category 3 is not being reopened during this procurement exercise. Leicestershire County Council's Early Years Inclusion and Childcare Service (EYICS) have a statutory duty to secure information, advice and training for specific groups of Early Years and Childcare Providers. Governor Support and Development (GSD) at Leicestershire County Council offers a training and development programme as a traded service for school governors, clerks and trustees who have bought-in to the Councils scheme.
