Start Up Service - Business Start Up Support

The Welsh Assembly Government on behalf of the Welsh Ministers is seeking to engage with quality providers to offer individuals appropriate support to help establish and increase the numbers of new business ventures in Wales. The services will be delivered via six regional integrated contracts that deliver: •Early Stage Intervention – taster sessions and networking (to include Taste of Enterprise in Heads of the Valleys and Môn and Menai).•Pre start up support – workshops (including innovation), business advice surgeries and 1 to 1 business advice.•Post start up support – growth workshops and 1 to 1 business advice for Start Ups and 6 and 12 months health checks for eligible Self Employed clients.•Graduate start up support.Contractors are expected to deliver a service that is tailor made, flexible and responsive to the clients identified support requirements in line with the criteria set for the service. Providers will be expected to deliver a service that is inclusive to all and that takes into account the needs of all clients and clients groups by ensuring that issues of participation are addressed. The ability to deliver/facilitate support through the medium of Welsh is a mandatory requirement for this tender.As part of the Welsh Assembly Government’s commitment to providing an inclusive service to individuals, providers will be required to achieve and retain a recognised equality kite mark within 12 months of securing the contract.Full details of the service specification are available in the tender document.Supplier information sessions will be held for orgainisation to attend. These sessions will be held at venues in North Wales and South Wales week commencing 9th May and 16th May.
