Stationary Fuel Cells in NCC Operational Buildings - Soft Market Test
Descriptions
Nottingham City Council has recently been successful in gaining £200,000.00 funding from the Department for Environment, food and rural affairs (DEFRA) to pilot stationary fuel cell technology in council buildings across Nottingham that are located within the Clean Air Zone. In addition to this additional council funds will be made available to deliver the project. To enable the city council to evaluate the options available within the market we are carrying out a short period of 'soft market testing' in order to understand the interest from and solutions available for the installation of fuel cells for the various types of buildings within our portfolio. In conducting this exercise the City Council would like to understand: A Fuel Cell technology • The options available to introduce fuel cell technology into a variety of Nottingham City Council buildings ranging in size. • The associated costs of each fuel cell option. B Fuel Cell suppliers • Number of suppliers within the market that are interested in working with the city council to install fuel cells within Nottingham. Please note that this is not a formal tender and is only a fact finding process, no contracts will be awarded by completing this document.
