Statistics on the largest purchasers (both public and private) of global cyber security services and products in 15 countries’
Descriptions
UKTI DSO uses statistics to assess the effectiveness of the UK security export sector (and its own effectiveness in promoting it). Theses statistics (example available at the link below) underpin business planning and our support to UK businesses. They are produced by a statistics firm, kMatrix. https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/uk-defence-and-security-export-figures-2014 To improve our effectiveness and allow us to better target our efforts, we require more statistics on the largest purchasers (both public and private) of global cyber security services and products in 15 countries. Including: •One-off provision of 3 years of data on 50 largest in-country procurers of cyber security for key markets. •One-off provision of 3 years of data on 50 largest rival (non-UK) suppliers of cyber security for key markets. •One-off provision of 3 years of data on top 20 largest UK suppliers of cyber security for key markets •Data to be provided for 15 countries (US, China, Japan, Canada, Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, France, Saudi Arabia, India, Singapore, South Korea, Italy, Brazil and Russia). According to kMatrix, these data can be produced at a rate of one country per five working days per person (x2) – about 8 weeks. We require this data to support the next financial year’s activities.
