Careers guidance and initiatives around equipping those entering the creative industries are, amongst others, two crucial elements in ensuring a successful workforce. Creative Skillset Cymru is looking for a suitable training provider to provide participants with guidance on relevant roles in the industry and clear routes on how to reach identified career goals.To enable Participants to make informed decisions, the training provider will need to run taster sessions/workshops or something similar in order to provide participants with an insight into various sectors and job roles.Sessions/Workshops will include, but are not limited to:•Taking first step into the creative industries•Introduction to drama production•Creating video for the web and other platforms•Marketing yourself as a new entrant•App DevelopmentCreative Skillset Census (http://www.creativeskillset.org/research/activity/census/) highlights the current imbalance that exists within the creative industries.
