Strain Monitoring and High Speed Camera
The University of Hull (hereafter referred to as the University) is establishing a Flood Resilience Innovation Centre (FLIC) in the Humber Region. FLIC will provide bespoke research and collaborative innovation services to 100 local SMEs, including 54 detailed R&D project interventions, to support the development of innovative products, processes and solutions to mitigate flood risk and improve resilience and response to flood events where complete flood prevention is impossible.
FLIC is funded in part by £1.9m from the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth
Descriptions
The University requires a Non-contact optical system to monitor full-field, three-dimensional shape, deformation and strains of solid and granular structures and Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) image sensor cameras.
