Blackwood Development, a trading name of Margaret Blackwood Housing Association, are seeking a Contractor/Developer to enter into a Strategic Partnership to deliver affordable homes at Tweedbridge Court, Peebles and Blackwood Court, Dundee. The Peebles site is required to provide a minimum of 19 units for affordable rent, together with a communal facility, with the balance of properties for mid-rent or outright sale by the Developer (with cross subsidy). The existing tenants will not be decanted and therefore the project will require to be undertaken in phases.The Dundee site is required to provide a minimum of 30 units for affordable rent and 6 units for LCHO. Additional units may be provided for outright sale by the Contractor / Developer.This notice, together with the pre-qualification process, relate to the development of both sites however for the avoidance of doubt it should be noted that the Candidates shortlisted from the PQQ stage will be invited to tender for the project at Tweedbridge Court, Peebles only.The successful Candidate for Tweedbridge Court, Peebles will however be afforded the opportunity of negotiating the development of the site at Blackwood Court, Dundee, subject to the availability of funding and affordability.
