IACC is implementing a strategic project managment methodolgy and governance to manage, control and co-ordinate its programme of Capital Works. The methodology is based on the principles of PRINCE2 adapted for the Authority's organisation and resources. Property Services is looking to appoint external support to complement its in-house personnel, the main functions being to contribute to the startegic direction, project/programme delivery and financial/funding management to ensure compliance with Corporate Governance Standards. This commission is primarily aimed at the provision of such support in relation to the Council's Coastal Environment Programme, but the commission may be extended at the Employers sole discretion to include other programmes.It is envisaged that the commission will be delivered by an organisation who will offer named individuals to deliver specific functions under the overall co-ordination of a Principal Lead.The Employer is looking for a high level of commitment from a team with suitable experience and qualifications who can offer continuity of personnel over the period of the commission. Whilst it is not possible to forecast the time required under this commssion there is likely to be a weekly commitment subject to the capital programme and there may be a potential commitment circa 3 days a week for periods during the commission.It is envisaged that the commission will last 2 years with a possible extension of up to a further year at the Employers discretion and subject to perormance.The commission will be delivered working closely with Council Officers at their Headquarters in Llangefni.The Principal Lead will report to the Head of Service (Property) at frequncies and in a format to be agreed.
