Student Residences Managed Internet Services.

The University of Westminster requires a service provider to provide a managed Internet service to approximately 1 500 student beds, over approximately 5 locations. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with an option for a further 2 years, commencing on 1.9.2014.As a minimum, the service will need to comprise:— A high speed, highly available managed Internet service.— The local delivery of the managed Internet service over both a wired and Wireless infrastructure.— The ability to provide an on-site response to major faults within 2 hours of reporting a fault.— A web-based student portal for registration and management of the service.A key requirement is that the proposed service can be implemented to ‘Go Live’ to all for all student beds by 1.9.2014.
