Study on the multi agency management of neglect cases in Wales and the implications for practice

Care Social Services Inspectorate Wales (on behalf of The Welsh Ministers) are seeking to commission a study in respect of the management of neglect in child care cases in Wales.The aim of this work will be to provide a greater understanding of :-How such cases are reported and, the ways in which agencies work together to assess plan and intervene on a multi agency basis.The perspective of stakeholders and service users To identify practical improvements to practice and promote the role of the Local Safeguarding Children Board.This will build on a smaller piece of work already commissioned that has included a literature overview on chronic neglect.Organisations wishing to express an interest in undertaking this work should complete the questionnaire attached to this notice and return it to the address given in section 1. The questionnaires will then be evaluated and scored and the highest scoring expessions of interest will invited to tender.
