Cardiff University IROHMS team requires serial manipulator robot for medical applications. It is required so that it can produce precise movements within its workspace by holding specialized tools through variable programmed motions for the performance of a variety of tasks. This robotic system can compute their trajectory for any target location within its workspace. This system also has the power/force limiting feature which prevents the severe impact of the robot manipulator with humans and other obstacles. Hence with this system it allows for reducing tiring repetitive movements to be automated with increased precision and without any collision.
