The procurement process was based on Call-off via Direct Award from the Scotland Excel Framework for Road Maintenance Materials, 30-17 - Lot 5 Bollards and Verge Markers. The Council’s Procurement Service undertook a benchmarking exercise based on the Council’s requirements based on their basket of goods to determine the most economically advantageous (MEAT) and it was concluded that Glasdon (UK) Ltd provided best value to the Council. In addition Glasdon (UK) Ltd were ranked first based on MEAT on the Scotland Excel Framework for Road Maintenance Materials, 30-17 - Lot 5.
