United Utilities has a centralised command and control function for the Water network, managed through an Integrated Control Centre (ICC) in order to become one of the North West leading customer service providers and the leading water and waste water company.The purpose of this procurement is to purchase units to deliver the automation and control of pressure management valve (PMV) controllers in order to enable a calm network thus allowing UU to provide improved customer service, cost savings and cost avoidance. Automation and control will be achieved using new and innovative technologies through installation of remote control of PMVs and Pumping Stations, via the use of such controllers.
