Supply and Installation of a High Speed Cell Sorter to the University of Birmingham

It must be a versatile instrument capable of sorting a variety of cell types.The sorters must be capable of sorting to high purity a diverse range of cell types at a speed >10,000 cells /sec. After sorting the cells must have a viability at or greater than 90 %. They must provide us with the ability to achieve sterile sorts, allowing the long term culture of the sorted cells. The supplier must be able to demonstrate what built-in features the instrument has in this respect and be able to demonstrate its effectiveness. This system is going to be operated by various members after training, so ease of use is essential.The cell sorter must have the option of being supplied with a dedicated biological safety cabinet.A reliable service package is required to ensure the full upkeep and efficiency of the product.
