Carmarthen Leisure Services as part of the overarching Welsh Government supported Intermediate Care Fund are embarking on a project to create a sustainable, electronic infrastructure to promote Healthy, Active Lifestyle messages to the public in high footfall areas and strategic sites, targeting specific demographic populations (e.g. frail elderly) as well as making the information available independently (e.g. in own homes, via mobile devices etc).The intention is to work with key partners such as health, leisure, housing, third sector, etc. to identify and promote a broad range of integrated Healthy, Active Lifestyle messages and opportunities that utilise digital media as their primary platform.The aim is to take a preventative approach to poor health, educating, encouraging and attracting people with Healthy, Active Lifestyle content.The aim is to deliver this in an interactive and engaging way that is available 24hrs a day, 7 days a week with an end goal of reducing the need for unnecessary admission to health care settings by promoting Healthy, Active Lifestyles as an alternative solution to health-related needsWorks to be Carried Out•Successful contractor to supply and install a minimum of 6 fixed digital video screens, 3 indoor locations, 3 outdoor high footfall locations (locations to be confirmed)•Successful contractor to supply a mobile interactive digital screen solution (e.g. van/trailer) to be used at events and festivalsNOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=16161.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
