— GM Connected Wayfinding is an initiative to provide a wayfinding system for Greater Manchester. The ambitions for this proposal extend across the urban environment, across all modes, supporting ease of modal interchange and onward journey planning from the beginning to the end of a journey,— following completion of a design solution progressed by TfGM, Manchester City Council and other stakeholders (initially for Phase 1 — GM Connected), TfGM procured a framework agreement (single supplier) for the supply and installation of the physical products (arrival displays and static totems), to be located at strategic nodes and removal of existing street furniture (“decluttering”),— this framework agreement will have an initial call-off for GM Connected that is intended to deliver Phase 1 (delivery area between Piccadilly and Victoria Rail Stations), and the instruction of other subsequent phases and/or requirements during the term will be subject to funding.
