Contract-ABSE-9Z4ZT4.Ward Based Automation Storage System for medicines. The Trust wishes to improve the security of medicine storage, overall patient care and resource use as well as upgrade the current storage solutions in areas where they are not fit for purpose. This requirement applies to both Trust sites, the Royal Brompton, Fulham Road and Harefield, Uxbridge but not all locations within the hospitals where drugs are stored. In the first instance AICU and PICU on the Brompton site have been identified as a priority. The Trust wishes to ensure easy and smooth migration from our existing automation and extension of the use of such technology in the Trust. The Trust would wish to limit duplication of effort or rebuilding of databases as far as possible.
