The City of Edinburgh Council (the Council) invites tenders for the award of a single contract for the Provision of a Supply and/or Delivery of Trade Material Commodities and Associated Services to the City of Edinburgh Council. These materials will be used to carry out approximately 120 000 repairs and maintenance to Council buildings, both housing and non housing by over 250 operatives.It is the intention of the Council that any Contract resulting from this ITT will commence on the 1.4.2015 for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months (1 year + 1 year), undertaken at the sole discretion of the Council.The estimated annual value of this contract is between GBP 4,5 m and GBP 5 m.Full details are provided in the specification.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Public Contracts Scotland Web Site at http://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=316315The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
