Descriptions
Bristol City Council (BCC) on behalf of the Bristol City Council, South Gloucestershire Council and North Somerset Council is seeking to tender the supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault rectification of Passenger Ticketing Information Points at the MetroBus stops which shall contain a number of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) elements. The Passenger Information Point will have at the top a colour display screen for real time information (RTI) and a lower interactive touch-screen. The top RTI display will take a RTIG-SIRI data feed from the existing RTI supplier.Exclusions from the Ticketing and Information Point tender brief includes:a. Internet connections to PTIPs;b. Provision of Payment Merchant to handle payment transactions;c. At-stop power connections;d. PTIP foundations;e. Bus tracking and generation of RTI data;f. Penetration testing.
