Descriptions
The requirement is to provide a solution for the supply of Skips for the disposal of General Waste and Recycling for the Environmental Services Division of Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council and any other department requesting this service through Environmental Services.The service will include the supply of empty skips of various sizes on request to pre-arranged locations within the county borough and the removal of full or part filled skips. Disposal shall be bound by Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Councils waste strategy in relation to segregated and non-segregated waste. All waste streams must be taken to authorised sites with the approval of the Authority. There are approximately 12 sites and 25 skips within the county borough requiring this service with varying emptying frequencies per annum.
