BCUHB programmes and clinical systems is seeking to procure a Learning Management System, currently we are using an internally developed access database for recoding staff attendance but this does not allow staff to book themselves onto a course, reporting is not strong from this and has to be carried out by the team, managers outside of the department cannot see their staff learning profiles. Courses are advertised on an intranet site but we have very limited access to the look and structure of this site. We can also not link any of our clinical systems e-learning course to a SCORM compliant system so this means that there is no record of a learner completing this course.We are looking for a systems that can manage and streamline our process’ for clinical systems training, this will also assist in the standardisation of our service over the Health Board.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
