This Project is all about establishing skills recognition and greater alternative employability for the nuclear workforce of Magnox North at Wylfa & Trawsfynydd in the long term. This is to be done by identifying regional career options, developing appropriate training interventions, and exploring qualifications and accreditation to enable the skills footprint of this region to transfer into other industries being developed. All this is to be while prioritising North West Wales, thus creating a sustainable and stable economy.As a result of this project, 1,200 staff and employees are to have the opportunity to shape their own futures and to prepare, with specialist support, to transfer to new industries. Without this funding, it is certain that North West Wales would suffer major skills depletion and population loss, creating serious and chronic structural economic decline.Menter Mon are searching for a contractor to deliver a Career Counselling Programme over 3 years: 2011, 2012, 2013 for the following number of clients· 50 client operating to education level 6, 7 and 8· 100 clients preparing for retirement (ie 55 to 64 year old)· 450 clients operating at education level 4 to 6· 150 clients operating at education levels 1, 2 and 3
