Supply of Detailed Designs of Wetland Engineering Works And Project Management Services at RSPB Baron's Haugh

Descriptions

RSPB Scotland wishes to commission a consultant to produce detailed technical designs based upon the preferred option developed as part of the Options Appraisal Study completed by AECOM in 2021, accounting for the continually evolving situation on site and changes that have occurred over the past year. Please see the additional documents for the full AECOM report as well as maps showing the location of different elements of the project. The outputs of this detailed design study must support applications for consent and production of an EIA (if required) and enable full delivery of the project, subject to securing all required consents and permissions, which will be the responsibility of RSPB Scotland staff to apply for. If all consents and permissions are secured, we would also wish to commission the consultant to provide Principal Designer services under CDM, and project management services for the delivery of groundworks in Autumn 2023, including management of the tendering process for appointment of contractors, and contract management thereafter. This second stage of the service will only be required if consents are granted so the contract will be phased in 2 stages.
