Please note: This is a re-tendering opportunity and as such, Tenderers should be aware that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE) may apply in respect of the successful bid.Wrexham County Borough Council's Supporting People team is inviting tender submissions from suitably experienced organisations for a housing related support service to people with offending backgrounds who have substance misuse issues.The scheme will have two distinct elements:-It will support, in a supported accommodation setting, 6 individuals, who are prison leavers with significant drug misuse issuesandit will support via floating support, a further twelve individuals who have offended or who are at risk of offending and have drug and/or alcohol misuse issues.Support will be offered for a period of up to two years and will aim to enable people to sustain settled accommodation and develop stable lifestyles. The contract will be for an initial period of three years with an option to extend by a further 2 years.Proposed start date for the contract is 25th April 2011.Tenders must be received by 12.00 noon on Wednesday, 5th January 2011
