The School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme is a Government funded initiative that supplies a piece of fruit orvegetable to all key stage 1 children (ages 4-7) in England each academic year. Currently over 16,520 primary schools (circa 2,200,000 children) take part in the scheme in England.This framework is to source produce suppliers who will deliver produce to nominated distribution hubs in England.Whilst it is anticipated that the initial 12 month expenditure under any forthcoming procurement will be in the region of £31,350,000.Procurement of the categories listed below to be delivered directly into NHS sites.The anticipated contract go live date is August 2024.
