Supply of a range of laptops, desktops and tablet devices to families caring for severely disabled children living in the UK. In all cases, the unit must be delivered to the family's home address.Laptops and desktops will have a minimum specification. In addition to the hardware, the package will need to include:— 3 year technical warranty and software support (telephone helpline),— 3 year accidental damage and theft insurance,— 3 year anti-virus and web filtering software (PAS74 standard),— Assistive technology software,— Assistive technology hardware (on an ad-hoc basis when required),— Tablets must be available in a range of sizes and operating systems and must include:— Protective case,— Screen protector,— Manufacturer's warranty,— Assistive technology features,— Support (telephone helpline).
