Due to the significant supply chain issues with PPE in the UK it was imperative that the West Midlands region secured supply of Type IIR masks. This contract award secured Type IIR masks for 11 other regional local authorities with the lead Council being Birmingham City Council. Other local authorities were: Herefordshire Council North Warwickshire County Council Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council Shropshire Council Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council Staffordshire County Council Stoke on Trent City Council Telford & Wrekin Council Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council Warwickshire County Council Worcestershire County Council.
