The College of Engineering at Swansea University has obtained funding for ASTUTE EAST (Advanced Sustainable Manufacturing Technologies) from European Regional Development Funds. As part of the research activities of ASTUTE EAST, a small immersion separator is required for project work with companies. The immersion separator will be used in the metal additive layer manufacturing laboratory. Funding for the purchase of this equipment has been made available through the Welsh European Funding Office, using European Structural Funds.
