Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales is inviting tenders from Stone Suppliers for the supply of 1,000 tonnes of local building limestone to St Fagans National History Museum in Cardiff.This is in connection with a project by the Historic Buildings Unit (HBU) to re-construct the Princes Court at St Fagans National History Museum based on the ruins found at Llys Rhosyr near Newborough on Anglesey which date back to 1237.The stone used on Anglesey is no longer available and decision has therefore been made to use local limestone for the re-construction of the buildings at St Fagans .NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
