Descriptions
City & County of Cardiff is acting as Lead Authority in terms of this framework arrangement on behalf of the WPC. Consequently all documentation will be issued by the lead authority via the Authority’s e-procurement system APPWales (web link http://appswales.alito.co.uk). The intention is to let a framework arrangement to enable the sixteen Local Authorities to source their Plumbing and Rainwater Goods requirements on a collaborative basis. In addition to the above named parties, the framework may be accessed by all Local Authorities, other Public Sector bodies and Third Sector partners in Wales. City & County of Cardiff will manage the Umbrella Framework Contract with individual Contracting Organisations calling off or undertaking further competitions within the Framework to meet their individual requirements.The framework will run for a two year period with two further options to extend for up to two twelve month periods.This is a framework arrangement and no guarantee as to volumes or expenditure can be given. Your attention is drawn to the fact that some existing arrangements which will expire before the end of the framework may continue for individual authorities during the period of the framework, after which the individual authority may utilise this framework.
