Ceredigion County Council is seeking to appoint a provider who can deliver a reliable, high quality, value-for-money, managed service for the provision of surface dressing chippings.Please note that the duration of the Contract (‘The Contract Period’) is 2 years with the option to extend annually for of up to 1 year, if circumstances allow. The Contract will last for a period of two years from 1st April 2014 to 31st March 2016 (the 2014 & 2015 seasons). It is expected that the orders will be placed predominantly in the spring, to coincide with the surface dressing season.The Council will appoint an Operations Officer who will assume specific areas of responsibility for all operational aspects of this contract.It is estimated that the quantity of chippings required annually under this contract will be between 6000 and 7000 tonnes, although the actual quantities may fall outside this range.
