Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council is inviting tenders for the supply of taxis (including escort when required), coaches and mini buses for home to school, social needs, staff and member travel.The majority of travel will take place within the confines of the Borough boundaries but out of the Borough travel will be required within the framework.Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council is looking to award a framework agreement awarded on a cascading basis to those suppliers who can best meet the requirements of the Council. The successful suppliers will be able to supply transport in the categories listed below:— 4 Passenger taxi,— 5 Passenger taxi,— 5–8 Passenger taxi,— 8–16 Passenger Bus.Note all the above requirements to be supplied with or without an escort.
