The Council has taken the decision to deliver Waste, Fleet and Streetscape Services via a wholly owned company, ANSA Environmental Services Limited. It is likely that ANSA will be responsible for delivering the Council's waste services from 1.4.2014. Consequently, the contract will initially be entered into with the Council but Contractors' attention is drawn to the fact that there are provisions within the contract allowing the Council to novate the contract to ANSA on or around 1.4.2014.The Council currently operate a fortnightly waste collection service incorporating three waste streams; residual waste, co-mingled recycling and garden waste. As part of the fortnightly collection service the Council provide residents with wheeled containers:The Council receive regular requests from residents for replacement and additional containers. The Council estimate that around 5000 containers are issued to residents per year.The Council require an experienced provider to supply wheeled containers to be utilised in accordance with the Council's kerbside waste collection service.
