Descriptions
The MCA requires 16 Standard 10ft ISO Freight Containers. The containers are required for the storage of the MCA’s counter pollution equipment at its stockpiles in Barnsley, Bristol and Dundee, and for its transportation to coastal sites around the UK for the deployment during incidents and at training exercises. During exercises and incidents the containers will be used for the temporary storage of equipment in ports or harbours and for transportation on seagoing vessels when equipment is required to be deployed at sea.
