Supply/Lease, Repair and Maintenance of Mobile Wheeled Assets.

This procurement covers a potential framework agreement/s that Peel Ports intends to award to cover the supply/lease and potential repair and maintenance of its mobile wheeled asset fleet across its UK and Irish operational sites. The initial term will be for 7 years with an option to extend up to a maximum of 3 years.Current annual spend across all sites on repair, maintenance and leasing ranges between 2 000 000-3 000 000 GBP (excluding capex).The repair and maintenance of the mobile wheeled assets at both Liverpool and Sheerness is currently undertaken by 3rd party service providers, therefore TUPE provisions may apply should a new service provider be appointed.In addition to the new Liverpool facility (L2) due to be operational in the second half of 2015, means additional capital expenditure planned on Terminal Tractors and Distribution Tractors in the region of 4 500 000 GBP alone.Peel Ports intends to issue tenders on the following lots:Lot 1 — Supply/Lease, Repair and Maintenance of trailers, terminal tractors and distribution tractors (tugs) at Port of Liverpool and the Manchester Ship Canal.Lot 2 — Supply/Lease,Repair and Maintenance of Material Handling Equipment including but not limited to: Wheeled Loading Shovels, Forklift Trucks, Empty Container Handlers and Reachstackers at the Port of Liverpool and The Manchester Ship Canal.Lot 3 — Supply/Lease, Repair and Maintenance of Trailers, Terminal Tractors and Distribution Tractors (Tugs) at Port of Heysham.Lot 4 — Supply/Lease, Repair and Maintenance of Trailers, Terminal Tractors and Distribution Trackers (Tugs) at Port of Sheerness.Lot 5 — Supply/Lease, Repair and Maintenance of Material Handling Equipment, including but not limited to: Wheeled Loading Shivels, Forklift Trucks, Empty Container Handlers and Reach Stackers at Port of Sheerness.Lot 6 — Supply/Lease, Repair and Maintenance of Trailers, Terminal Tractors and Distribution Tractors (Tugs) at Greenock Ocean Terminal and King George V Dock (Glasgow).Lot 7 — Supply/Lease, Repair and Maintenance of Material Handling Equipment, including but not limited to: Wheeled Loading Shovels, Forklift Trucks, Empty Container Handlers and Reachstackers at Greenock Ocena Terminal and King George V Dock (Glasgow).Lot 8 — Supply/Lease, Repair and Maintenance of Trailers, Terminal Tractors and Distribution Tractors (Tugs) at Port of Belfast.Lot 9 — Supply/Lease, Repair and Maintenance of Material Handling Equipment, including but not limited to: Wheeled Loading Shovels, Forklift Trucks, Empty Container Handlers and Reachstackers at Port of Belfast.Lot 10 — Supply/Lease, Repair and Maintenance of Trailers, Terminal Tractors and Distribution Tractors (Tugs) at Port of Dublin.Lot 11 — Supply/Lease, Repair and Maintenance of Material Handling Equipment, including but not limited to: Wheeled Loading Shovels, Forklift Trucks, Empty Container Handlers and Reachstackers at Port of Dublin.Lot 12 — Supply/Lease, Repair and Maintenance of Material Handling Equipment, including but not limited to: Wheeled Loading Shovels, Skidsteers and DozersHunterston Ore Terminal.Potential Service Providers don't necessarily have to be able to provide services for all Lots.Peel Ports is looking to establish relationships with companies who have the relevant compliance with British Standards (or equivalent European Standards) and a proven track record of supplying/leasing and/or repairing and maintaining mobile wheeled assets in a similar industrial environment.Peel Ports reserves the right to award one or more framework agreement/s depending on the responses received to this notice. Peel Ports also reserves the right to make no award as a result of this procurement or may award lots in part or in whole.
