Support Package for the Operation of both Software and Hardware Associated with the Weighbridges

PIN – WEIGHBRIDGECardiff Council requires a three year support package for the operation of both software and hardware associated with the weighbridges at three Council operated sites within the city.The ISYS Gatehouse package is currently utilised for the management and processing of data, the existing software licence and maintenance agreement is due to expire. As a minimum the requirement will be renewal for a three year period.In relation to the improvement of data control, the council also wishes to explore system upgrades to include out of hours automation incorporating proposed ANPR systems for vehicle movements.The support package also requires the following;•Preventative maintenance visit for three weighbridge sites (frequency based on risk)•Annual calibration visit and issuing UKAS accredited calibration certificates for three weighbridge sites.•Rapid response time for software and hardware malfunctions (currently set at 4 hours).•Loan scheme on covered hardware•Repair parts and consumables included•Weighbridge test unit included•On site labour includedHardware includes; 1 x 9m / 4 x 15m Weighbridges, 3 x Display units 3 x Remote Displays 2 x Entry Systems Tag readers 2 x Rising Arm Barriers & Safety Loops, 4 x Ian Fellows Lucid’s 1 x Matsushita PLC.The Authority intends to invite interested suppliers who express an interest in this opportunity to a supplier engagement event on the 31st July.
