There is no guarantee that any competitive exercise will follow this request.The purpose is described as providing support services for Early Years Providers in Flintshire.The service must demonstrate that local Flintshire Early Years Providers are supported :--To thrive as independent and sustainable providers of childcare and early education within Flintshire to assist the local authority in meeting its obligations under the Childcare Sufficiency and Early Education regulations-To meet regulatory requirements by delivering training and follow up support on statutory processes eg recruitment, safeguarding, performance management, financial management, health and safety, national care standards, equality and provision for children with additional needs-To meet the requirements of children with additional learning needs under the SEN Code of Practice for Wales by delivering a referral scheme which gives providers access to expert advice and funding to support children to maintain their childcare or educational place in order to thrive-To provide affordable childcare for families by delivering an Assisted Places scheme as part of the drive to reduce the impact of poverty on achievement-To achieve the Quality Assurance Scheme ‘Quality for All’.The Service must also demonstrate that Flintshire Early Years Providers have:--Access to statutory training on First Aid, Food Hygiene and Child Protection-Access to trained Development Officers who can support with safer recruitment procedures and authorise documentation for DBS checks for setting staff-Access to local, specialist development officers who can provide the appropriate advice, training and support on matters related to childcare and early educational provision-Access to local, specialist development officers who can provide the appropriate advice on Charity Commission regulations, governance matters eg constitutions, developing the skills of voluntary committees, business development and sustainability and establishing new provision
