There is no guarantee that any competitive exercise will follow this request.The purpose is described as providing support services for families, children and young people and the wider community in Flintshire to sustain and develop the Welsh Language and promote Welsh medium early years services and education.The service must demonstrate that Flintshire families, children and young people and the wider community are supported :--To ensure that whenever possible Welsh is the main language used with the children within families by at least one adult family member in regular contact with them as set out in the aims and objectives of the Welsh Government policy” A living language: a language for living – Moving forward”-To easily access comprehensive information about all organisations working in partnership within the Local Welsh Language Forum (Fforwm Sirol Fflint/Maelor) working to sustain and develop the Welsh language and promote Welsh medium early years services and education in Flintshire-To take full advantage of the capacity and provision of places to assist the local authority in meeting the targets agreed with Welsh Government as part of the Welsh in Education Strategy to increase the number of pupils accessing Welsh medium education-To be fully aware of the value of bilingual skills in the workplace so that parents or guardians may make an informed decision when considering the possibility of Welsh medium early years services and education for their child-To be aware of all suitable resources and technology to support the aboveThe Service must also demonstrate that Flintshire families, children, young people and members of the community have:-Support and assistance in accessing information about other organisations who provide information about the benefits of Welsh medium education and create pathways for children to access early years and educational services through the medium of Welsh eg Twf,, Mudiad Meithrin, Flintshire Welsh Medium schoolsThe Service must also demonstrate that it can:--Work effectively with the local authority in delivering on its targets for increasing the numbers of pupils in Welsh medium education as published in its Welsh in Education Strategic Plan through the provision of Welsh medium childcare and education services-Work in partnership with and support other partner organisations who work through the local Welsh Language Forum to increase the number of children receiving Welsh medium childcare and education services and the numbers of pupils in Welsh medium education-Work effectively with Welsh Government on national campaigns to promote the Welsh language and Welsh medium education
