Dorset Council commissions a range of services for people (adults) living with learning disabilities and mental health issues and physical disabilities. Dorset Council are calling to market providers who are able to deliver a Dorset Supported Employment Service for adults to access and maintain employment activities, supporting people with to achieve economic wellbeing and social inclusion whilst maximising their potential as a citizen living in Dorset. Consultation is being sought with potential providers to explore challenges, opportunities and best practice and consider how we can contract with a provider/s to deliver an effective service that delivers outcomes across Dorset Council area. It is expected that the tender will be published in August 2025. You will need to register on www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk and ensure that you have registered on the Central Digital Platform. We invite you to join us at a Preliminary Market Engagement Event on Wednesday 9th of July of 2025 at 2pm-3pm so that we can explore best practice and service design. To register your interest and to receive a MS Teams invite to the market engagement event, please send an email to adultscommissioningteam@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk by 5pm on Tuesday the 8th of July 2025. If your organisation is unable to attend the event but would like a copy of the slides, please also email adultscommissioningteam@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk to express an interest. Please note this is a preliminary market engagement which may or may not result in a contract opportunity being advertised.
