Supported Living Schemes in Neath Port Talbot for People with a Learning Disability or Mental Health

Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council is seeking high quality providers who recognise the importance of supporting people to gain independence within their local communities, whilst delivering value for money services, for the provision of care in a number of proposed new supported living schemes.Subject to funding and completion of the schemes, it is anticipated that provider(s) will be required for the following potential new supported living schemes:- A two bedroom scheme for people with a learning disability – completion date anticipated Spring 2019.- Two three bedroom schemes for people with a learning disability or mental health needs – first scheme completion date anticipated Spring 2019 and second scheme anticipated completion date Autumn/Winter 2019.Please note that the development of the two three bedroom schemes are subject to securing capital funding.To enable the Council to understand the current market position in terms of its ability to respond to the requirements of the anticipated tender exercises we are holding a Market Testing Event for interested organisations.The details of this event are:Date: 29th October 2018Time: 15.30 – 17.00Location: Port Talbot Civic, Committee Room 1, SA13 1PJPlease contact Pam Morgans on p.morgans1@neath-porttalbot.gov.uk by 15th October 2018 to register your interest.Due to space only two people per organisation may register to attend, places will allocated be on a first come first serviced basis.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=86042.
