The seven* Sussex Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), acting together under a Collaborative Commissioning Agreement, wish to procure a Service Provider for the NHS 111 Clinical Assessment Service, Home Visiting and Out of Hours Service for Sussex (See Note 1).The Commissioners have agreed to offer the contract as a 5 year initial term with a single option to extend for up to a further 2 years (5 +2 = 7 years maximum duration) at the sole discretion of the Commissioner. The NHS standard contract and sub-contracts will be used, and therefore Providers will be expected to meet all standards therein.The Commissioners have set a maximum total financial envelope of 72 720 000 GBP for the 7 year max duration of the contract.The new service will need to be in place by 1st April 2019, and the Commissioners expect to complete the procurement process and award the contract during August 2018.The deadline for submission of completed bids is Thursday 29th March 2018 at 12:00pm (midday).
