The Swansea Community Energy & Enterprise Scheme Ltd invites quotations for the installation commissioning and FiT application of PV panels within the City & County of Swansea on up to 18 sites (approx. 503.5kWp) by September 27th 2016.SCEES is a Registered Community Benefit Society (CBS) established in September 2015. A CBS is a Society entity established and registered by the Financial Conduct Authority under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014.The Society has pre-registered 18 sites in Council & Diocese ownership . Under the incentives offered to community groups, Ofgem confirmed in April 2016 that the group will be eligible to claim the Feed-in Tariff rate as of September 2015 (11.71p/kWh) subject to meeting the FiT validity date of 27th September 2016, hence the importance of the installation deadline as set out under the Specification section.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=46413.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
