We are looking to acquire a policy management solution for the Council, to be implemented in three phases:Phase 1A system in place which:•Holds key corporate Council policies, including:oVersion referenceoName of author / officer responsible for reviewingoLast reviewed and next planned review datesoApproving / adopting body, if applicable.•Is accessible to all staff on our intranet•Has the facility to remind authors of scheduled review dates in advance and allow authors to amend as required, so that all remain up-to-date•Has the facility to disseminate policies to all relevant staff and test their understanding, thereby providing evidence that target audience post-holders have read, understood and agreed to abide by those policies identified as priorities from year to yearPhase 2Key service-specific policies are added to the system.Phase 3The policies are available to the public on the Council’s website.Our requirements are set out in more detail in the tender documents.*Please not that the funding for this project has not yet been approved. We will know by mid-June whether the funding has been approved.
