The Welsh Government wishes to commission a Systems Thinking Review on the delivery of Housing Adaptations to support the disabled and elderly to live safely and independently in Wales. The delivery of Housing Adaptations in Wales provide a key frontline service and reduce pressures on other resources. The multiple organisations and funding streams involved in the delivery of Housing Adaptations has resulted in a complex system that will benefit from being improved and streamlined to ensure it is fit for purpose and can continue to meet increasing demands and pressures. The Review will be tasked with evaluating the current delivery of all related funding streams identifying any potential best practice. From this the Review is expected to identify potential ways to change the system in order to streamline and be more responsive to customer needs.The aim of the work specified here is to provide Welsh Government with timely, robust information and recommendations on how the current delivery mechanism for Housing Adaptations to support the disabled and elderly to live independently can be improved and streamlined to make it more citizen focused, transparent and consistent in its delivery.The findings will be used to set out changes that the Welsh Government will make to the current system of delivering Housing Adaptations in Wales.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
