Tatton Park Marketing Cheshire

Descriptions

Cheshire East Council is seeking a company to act on its behalf in partnership with Warrington Borough and Cheshire West and Chester Councils to deliver a pre-agreed visitor economy activity plan based on the county of Cheshire as a visitor destination. The successful company will allow for growth in additional place marketing activity and Visitor Economy priority programmes delivered through the previous provider. An activity plan for the year will need to be drawn up to guide the allocation of resources and service provision for Cheshire East taking account of the agreed sub-regional and local priorities. In addition to the funding, Cheshire East will dedicate staff and financial resources to Economic development and Visitor Economy activity that the successful company will dovetail with. An activity plan for the year will guide use of these resources, set out priority actions and provide a framework for local commissioning in line with the ‘Growth’ agenda and the Economic Development or Visitor Economy Strategic priorities. In delivering its business plan and day to day work, the successful company will need to strategically position itself for being able to be uniquely placed working in partnership with the public and private sectors to ensure it continues to flourish in the long term. The successful company will need to pursue four specific goals: 1.To use all our abilities and creativity to support the economic growth agenda right across Cheshire and position Cheshire as the most diverse and buoyant economy outside the South East, aiming this message at the corporate investment community and key intermediaries influencing the investment and locational decisions of large businesses and developers 2.To clarify, promote and develop the principal services – marketing consultancy, networks and contacts, business tourism services, event managements, public relations and digital and social media marketing – and the achievements of Marketing Cheshire in order to appeal to a wider range of clients from the public, private and 3rd sectors not only within the borders of Cheshire but with those adjacent or neighbouring or interested and national and international. 3.To build a strong relationship with our three local authority clients, the LEP and individually with our many private sector partners based on supporting their shared and specific growth agendas and to prove to them that a relationship with Marketing Cheshire can help them achieve their objectives 4.To up-skill our people and building on their strengths develop a strong and confident core team supported by a network of trusted specialist associates to reflect clients’ changing needs.
